While the width of human hair reflects how wide each strand of your hair is, hair density<\/strong> refers to how close are these stresses on your head. Knowing well the density of your hair is exceptionally significant, as it would help a lot in finding a suitable hairpiece to wear.<\/p>\n

First, what is hair density?<\/h2>\n

The very first thing to jump into is to determine the correct definition of hair density<\/strong>. This term indeed refects the overall thickness of your hair. In other words, this figure refers to how close the hair strands are packed together on one\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

The hair density<\/strong> test would be carried out by counting the number of hair strands on an area of 1 square inch (or approximately 2.5 cm\u00b2). Statistics show that each person would have averagely 2,200 strands of hair per 1*1 inch area.<\/p>\n

Normally, the density of a hair topper<\/strong> or toupee would be divided into 03 main levels: low, medium, and high (similar to light, medium, and heavy, respectively). It has no relation to the thickness of each strand, so don\u2019t mistake it!<\/p>\n

No head is similar to another, and neither is hair density<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are several levels to mention, from the extra light, when your scalp is visible and easy to see, to extra heavy, when the hair is exceptionally thick.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Extra light<\/h3>\n

This low density natural hair is the thinnest among the list. The hair looks exceptionally thin, and the scalp skin becomes visible. We often see this situation in aged people.<\/p>\n

Especially, when they get older, their hair tends to shed more, leading to frontal hair loss. And that\u2019s when the elderly start to search for a way to increase density in their front head.<\/p>\n
